Breakout (fan-out) patch cable converting a single MTP / MPO transceiver into 4, 6, or 12 duplex LC connectors — the standard cabling for migrating 40G-SR4 / 100G-SR4 / 100G-DR / 400G-DR4 parallel-optic ports into legacy 10G / 25G / 100G duplex switches or for fan-out from a 12-fiber backbone trunk into structured 6× duplex LC patch panels.
Available configurations: 8-fiber MTP-to-4× LC duplex (for 40G-SR4 → 4× 10G-SR and 100G-SR4 → 4× 25G-SR breakouts), 12-fiber MTP-to-6× LC duplex (for 100G-PSM4 → 4× 25G and SDR fanout), 24-fiber MTP-to-12× LC duplex (high-density backbone breakout), and 16-fiber MTP-to-8× LC duplex (for 400G / 800G applications). Fiber grades OM3, OM4, OM5, and OS2 single-mode all stocked.
Per-fiber IL < 0.5 dB; furcation block strain-relieves each LC pair; fan-out tail lengths 0.5 m to 1.5 m standard, customer-specified. Total cable length 0.5 m to 30 m in 0.5 m increments. Each cable ships with a per-fiber IL test report and a polarity map showing fiber-to-LC-pair routing.
