Cat5e F/UTP foil-shielded network patch cord — a lighter-weight, lower-cost shielding alternative to S/FTP. The four pairs are unshielded inside an overall aluminum-polyester foil wrap, providing protection against ambient EMI without per-pair complexity. Suitable for office-environment installations adjacent to high-current AC lines, fluorescent lighting, and motor controls.
Construction: 4 pairs of 24 AWG bare-copper stranded conductors, overall aluminum-polyester foil shield with drain wire, flexible LSZH (low-smoke zero-halogen) outer jacket — required for plenum and riser installations per NEC. 8P8C plugs are shielded with 50µ"-gold-flashed contacts and integrated drain-wire grounding. Specifications per ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 5e (100 MHz channel performance).
The default green jacket color identifies the LSZH variant for installers; PVC and other LSZH colors (blue, gray, black, white) are available on request. Lengths from 0.3 m to 30 m in 0.5 m increments. PoE / PoE+ rated up to 25.5W per port. Common deployments include office structured cabling, IP-phone runs, and surveillance camera back-haul.
