Cat5e S/FTP (overall-shielded, per-pair foil-shielded) network patch cord for 1 Gbps Ethernet in EMI / RFI-heavy environments — industrial automation cabinets, medical imaging suites, broadcast facilities, and any location where unshielded twisted-pair would couple noise into the link.
Construction: 4 pairs of 24 AWG bare-copper stranded conductors, each pair wrapped in aluminum-polyester foil, all four pairs surrounded by a tinned-copper braid (typical 65% coverage), inside a flexible PVC or LSZH jacket. 8P8C plugs are shielded with 50µ"-gold-flashed contacts and integrated drain-wire grounding. Specifications per ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 5e (100 MHz channel performance).
Jacket options: PVC (lowest cost, indoor only) and LSZH (low-smoke zero-halogen for plenum / riser installs); colors include blue, gray, black, white, green, yellow, red, orange. Lengths from 0.3 m to 30 m in 0.5 m increments; custom lengths to 50 m on request. Each cable is wire-map and continuity tested before packaging, with batch IL / NEXT / RL data available on request. Recommended applications: IP cameras in industrial settings, factory-floor PLC interconnect, hospital biomedical equipment networking.
