Cat6A S/FTP patch cord 24 AWG variant — a heavier-gauge alternative to standard 23 AWG Cat6A for installations where long runs, high PoE++ current loads, or maximum-length 10GBASE-T to 100 m demand the lowest possible DC resistance and best heat handling.
Construction: 4 pairs of 24 AWG bare-copper stranded conductors (heavier than standard 23 AWG patch-cord variants), each pair wrapped in aluminum-polyester foil, all four pairs surrounded by a tinned-copper braid (typical 65% coverage), inside a flexible PVC or LSZH jacket. 8P8C plugs are fully shielded with 50µ"-gold-flashed contacts. Specifications per ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A (500 MHz channel, 10GBASE-T to 100 m).
The thicker conductor lowers DC resistance by ~25%, reducing cable heating under PoE++ (Type 4, 100W) loads — important for long 50-100 m runs with multiple cables bundled in conduits. PoE++ surge-protected jacket variants available on request. Jackets: PVC (indoor) or LSZH (plenum / riser); standard color black with custom color and printing on request. Lengths from 1 m to 100 m in 1 m increments. Each cable channel-tested at 500 MHz before packaging.
