19-inch 1U rackmount DWDM mux/demux module for metro / regional / datacenter interconnect networks. The chassis houses dense wavelength-division-multiplexed optics on the ITU G.694.1 C-band grid and presents a front patch panel with duplex LC/UPC connectors per channel, plus optional common (line) port, expansion (out-of-band) port, and 1310 nm monitor port.
Available channel counts are 8, 16, 32, and 40 at 100 GHz spacing (0.8 nm); 4, 8, and 16 channels are also available at 200 GHz spacing (1.6 nm) for lower-cost deployments. Typical insertion loss is < 3.0 dB for 8-channel, < 5.0 dB for 16-channel, < 6.5 dB for 32-channel, and < 7.0 dB for 40-channel. Adjacent isolation > 25 dB, channel passband ≥ 0.5 dB at ± 0.1 nm, return loss > 45 dB, PDL < 0.3 dB.
Modules are dual-direction mux+demux (use the same chassis on both ends of the link) or simplex mux-only / demux-only on request. Operating temperature 0 to +70 °C standard or -40 to +85 °C industrial. Each unit ships with a per-channel test report, a port-mapping label affixed to the front panel, and a printed ITU channel-to-wavelength reference.
