MTP / MPO trunk cable for parallel-optic transceiver interconnect — the standard cable for 40G-SR4 / 100G-SR4 / 100G-DR / 400G-DR4 / 400G-FR4 / 800G applications where one connector carries 8, 12, 16, or 24 fibers.
Fiber count: 8 (for 40G / 100G-SR4), 12 (most common — for Type A / B / C polarity), 16 (for 400G-DR8 / 800G), or 24 (high-density). Fiber type: OS2 single-mode, OM3 / OM4 / OM5 multi-mode. Connector polarity: Type A (key-up to key-down, straight), Type B (key-up to key-up, polarity-swapped), Type C (pair-flipped at one end, for duplex applications). Pinned (male) or unpinned (female) ends, customer-specified.
Use the high-precision MTP® brand connector for IL ≤ 0.35 dB per connection (vs. generic MPO at ≤ 0.5 dB). Length: 0.5 m to 100 m standard in 0.5 m increments. Jacket: LSZH default, PVC and plenum on request. Color-coded boots per fiber-grade convention. Each cable ships with a per-fiber CSV-format IL test report covering all 8 / 12 / 24 fibers.
