Cat6 patch cords carry 1 Gbps Ethernet to 100 m and 10 Gbps to ~55 m — making them the entry point for 10GBASE-T capable structured cabling. The cross-skeleton spline inside the cable separates pairs to reduce NEXT and meet 250 MHz channel performance. Optiunik manufactures Cat6 cables in U/UTP and S/FTP construction with 23 AWG or 24 AWG solid-bare-copper conductors and gold-flashed 50µ" 8P8C plugs. PoE+ (25.5W) and PoE++ (60W and 100W) ratings supported with appropriate jacket fire ratings. Jackets in PVC, LSZH, and OFNP plenum; colors include blue, gray, black, white, green, yellow, red. Custom lengths from 0.3 m to 30 m ship in 0.5 m increments.
