CAT8
Cat8 is the highest-performance copper-cabling standard certified by TIA, delivering 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T over 30 m of channel (24 m of permanent link + 6 m of patch cords). Its 2000 MHz bandwidth and Class I / Class II shielding make it suitable for short-reach top-of-rack interconnect where fiber would over-spec the application. Optiunik produces Cat8 cables in S/FTP (overall braid plus per-pair foil) and shielded U/UTP variants, with 22 AWG, 23 AWG, and 24 AWG bare-copper conductors. Plugs are reinforced shielded 8P8C with 50µ" gold flash. Jackets in PVC, LSZH, and OFNP plenum; all common colors; custom lengths from 0.3 m to 30 m. Each cable is channel-tested for return loss, NEXT, ANEXT, and TCL at 2000 MHz before shipping.
