Cat8 patch cord 24 AWG variant — a slightly slimmer-profile alternative to the standard 22 AWG Cat8 construction for installations where cable management density is the constraint. Maintains the 2000 MHz / 40GBASE-T certification with a careful balance of conductor gauge and shielding effectiveness.
Construction: 4 pairs of 24 AWG bare-copper solid conductors, each pair wrapped in aluminum-polyester foil, all four pairs surrounded by a tinned-copper braid (typical 75% coverage), inside a flexible PVC or LSZH jacket. 8P8C plugs are fully shielded with 50µ"-gold-flashed contacts, reinforced strain relief, and integrated drain-wire grounding. Specifications per ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 8 Class I.
The 24 AWG conductor reduces overall cable diameter by ~10% vs. standard 22 AWG Cat8 — easing routing through dense bundles and patch panels at the cost of slightly higher insertion loss (still within the Cat8 30 m channel envelope). Jackets: PVC or LSZH; standard color black with custom on request. Lengths from 0.3 m to 30 m in 0.5 m increments. Each cable channel-tested at 2000 MHz before packaging.
