Compact 12-channel CCWDM (Compact CWDM) module replacing the cascaded-thin-film-filter chain of a conventional CWDM with free-space optical alignment inside a sealed sub-1-inch block. This drops typical insertion loss by 1.5 dB at the 12-channel scale vs. a fiber-cascaded equivalent and shrinks the footprint by 3-4× — important for cabinet and OLT-shelf-card deployments.
Channels: 12 on the CWDM ITU G.694.2 grid (typical selection 1291, 1311, … 1591 nm; custom wavelength sets available). Insertion loss typically < 2.8 dB for the highest-loss channel and < 2.2 dB average; channel isolation > 30 dB adjacent and > 40 dB non-adjacent; return loss > 45 dB; PDL < 0.3 dB; operating temperature -40 to +85 °C; channel passband flat ± 6 nm.
The module ships with pigtailed LC/UPC connectors (LC/APC, SC/UPC, SC/APC, FC/PC also available) at 1 m default length; custom pigtail lengths and a fiber-boot exit are configurable. Use cases include OLT/ONT shelf cards, metro aggregation cabinets, and cellular fronthaul where 1U rackmount space is unavailable. Each module ships with a 12-channel IL / isolation / RL test report.
