Single-channel 1×2 CWDM filter device with one common port and two channel ports — the right tool for adding or dropping exactly one CWDM wavelength to / from a fiber that carries other CWDM channels (or carries the broader spectrum). Saves the cost of a full mux/demux module when only one wavelength is being routed.
Specify the dropped channel wavelength at order time — any of the 18 standard CWDM ITU G.694.2 channels from 1271 to 1611 nm. Typical insertion loss is < 0.6 dB on the pass channel and < 1.0 dB on the dropped channel; isolation > 30 dB adjacent and > 40 dB non-adjacent; return loss > 45 dB; PDL < 0.2 dB; operating temperature -40 to +85 °C.
Packaging is a sealed mini steel tube (5.5 × 50 mm) with three 0.9 mm or 2 mm jacketed fiber pigtails exiting one end. Connector options include SC/UPC, SC/APC, LC/UPC, LC/APC, and FC/PC; pigtail length defaults to 1 m and is customizable. Each device ships with a per-port test report.
