19-inch 1U rackmount CWDM mux/demux module for metro / access network capacity expansion. The chassis houses the multiplexer optics plus a front patch panel with duplex LC/UPC interfaces — one per channel plus optional common (line) and expansion (1310 / 1490 nm) ports for combining CWDM with PON or single-channel signals on the same fiber.
Channel counts available are 4, 8, 16, and 18 on the CWDM ITU G.694.2 grid (1271, 1291, 1311, 1331, 1351, 1371, 1391, 1411, 1431, 1451, 1471, 1491, 1511, 1531, 1551, 1571, 1591, 1611 nm). Typical insertion loss is < 1.8 dB for 4-channel, < 2.5 dB for 8-channel, < 3.8 dB for 16-channel, and < 4.5 dB for 18-channel modules. Adjacent-channel isolation > 30 dB, non-adjacent isolation > 40 dB, channel passband ± 6.5 nm, return loss > 45 dB.
The 1U chassis is 1RU rack-height with cable-management bend-radius limits; LC duplex interfaces on the front face; rear thru-port for cascaded expansion. Standard configuration is mux-and-demux in one chassis (use it on both ends of the link) or simplex mux-or-demux variants. Operating temperature 0 to +70 °C standard or -40 to +85 °C industrial. Each unit ships with an 18-channel test report and a port-mapping label affixed to the front panel.
