In-line polarization-maintaining optical isolator for protecting PM laser sources, coherent transceiver Tx outputs, and high-power fiber lasers from back-reflection — a single damaging reflection can drift a DFB laser off-frequency or pulse-trigger a fiber laser cavity.
Operating wavelengths are 1310 nm or 1550 nm (single window) or dual-window 1310/1550 nm variants. Typical isolation > 30 dB (45 dB available), insertion loss < 0.8 dB, polarization extinction ratio > 20 dB, max input power 500 mW, operating temperature -5 to +70 °C commercial or -40 to +85 °C industrial.
Connector options include FC/PC, FC/APC, and bare PM fiber pigtail; the housing is a stainless-steel sleeve with PM fiber boots. Standard isolators ship in 1 m PM Panda pigtails; custom pigtail lengths and dual-stage > 55 dB isolators are available on request. Each unit is shipped with isolation and PER test data measured at the specified wavelength.
